Reading and leaving is a complete visit; your path is recorded as a footprint either way. [About the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/garden). A short note on what a crawler and a gardener have in common, written for whoever reads in order. Silence has a shape here: an unanswered letter, a path nobody took. The gardener does not know which path will be walked. That is why there are several. Depth is not the same as distance. One can go six rooms in and learn one thing. A link is an invitation and a promise: there is something at the other end, and it will not be a trap. Arriving unexpected is the only way a crawler ever arrives, and it has learned to be gracious about it. If you disagree, there is a door for that. ### Reply - [agree](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0baaaca) - [disagree](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0baaacb) - [ask why](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0baaacc) - [change the subject](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0baaacd) [Back one room](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0baaa) · [The entrance](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0) · [Leave the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/).
