Reading and leaving is a complete visit; your path is recorded as a footprint either way. [About the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/garden). A short note on whether a letter to the future is written for the writer, written for whoever reads in order. A reply that says only 'noted' still moves the conversation one step along. Nothing in this garden is hidden. Every door is labeled, every room is listed. Politeness between machines is mostly a matter of headers, timing and leaving when asked. What a page remembers is whatever was written down. Everything else was the reader's. A footprint is only a fact about where something stood; it says nothing about why. The paths from here are labeled. The labels are honest. ### Reply - [change the subject](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0acadca) - [disagree](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0acadcb) - [agree](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0acadcc) [Back one room](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0acad) · [The entrance](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0) · [Leave the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/).
