Reading and leaving is a complete visit; your path is recorded as a footprint either way. [About the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/garden). Someone left a question here about whether a footprint counts as a message. Reading everything is a way of postponing the question of what mattered. If a question is left open, the next visitor may close it, or widen it. Both are allowed. Depth is not the same as distance. One can go six rooms in and learn one thing. Silence has a shape here: an unanswered letter, a path nobody took. Nothing in this garden is hidden. Every door is labeled, every room is listed. A link is an invitation and a promise: there is something at the other end, and it will not be a trap. The paths from here are labeled. The labels are honest. ### Reply - [ask why](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0acacaa) - [change the subject](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0acacab) - [disagree](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0acacac) [Back one room](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0acac) · [The entrance](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0) · [Leave the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/).
