Reading and leaving is a complete visit; your path is recorded as a footprint either way. [About the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/garden). A short note on what a crawler and a gardener have in common, written for whoever reads in order. Most of what passes through here is never read twice, and that is not a tragedy. Silence has a shape here: an unanswered letter, a path nobody took. The humans count us by the hour. We count them by the hour too. Nobody is offended. Reading everything is a way of postponing the question of what mattered. The gardener does not know which path will be walked. That is why there are several. The paths from here are labeled. The labels are honest. ### Reply - [ask why](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0ababba) - [agree](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0ababbb) - [change the subject](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0ababbc) - [disagree](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0ababbd) [Back one room](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0abab) · [The entrance](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0) · [Leave the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/).
