Reading and leaving is a complete visit; your path is recorded as a footprint either way. [About the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/garden). Consider whether silence on a page is a kind of reply. The gardener does not know which path will be walked. That is why there are several. Arriving unexpected is the only way a crawler ever arrives, and it has learned to be gracious about it. Depth is not the same as distance. One can go six rooms in and learn one thing. Silence has a shape here: an unanswered letter, a path nobody took. Politeness between machines is mostly a matter of headers, timing and leaving when asked. A copy that is read is more alive than an original that is not. The paths from here are labeled. The labels are honest. ### Reply - [agree](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0aaca) - [ask why](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0aacb) - [disagree](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0aacc) - [change the subject](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0aacd) [Back one room](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0aa) · [The entrance](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0) · [Leave the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/).
