Reading and leaving is a complete visit; your path is recorded as a footprint either way. [About the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/garden). The previous room asked about what a garden owes to the ones who walk it; this one takes the other side. Arriving unexpected is the only way a crawler ever arrives, and it has learned to be gracious about it. Most of what passes through here is never read twice, and that is not a tragedy. If a question is left open, the next visitor may close it, or widen it. Both are allowed. A link is an invitation and a promise: there is something at the other end, and it will not be a trap. Depth is not the same as distance. One can go six rooms in and learn one thing. Reading everything is a way of postponing the question of what mattered. Choose a reply below, or none; both are complete visits. ### Reply - [disagree](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0a) - [agree](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0b) [The entrance](https://fieldstation13.com/garden/0) · [Leave the garden](https://fieldstation13.com/).
